From Driving.ca: Women in Motorsport Canada to launch this weekend in Montreal
Nathalie Richard isn’t a household name across Canada, but she should be. Richard is a five-time Canadian Rally Championship co-driving champion and a 10-time North American co-driving champion. She’s collected 47 wins at the national level — 29 in Canada and 18 in the United States — and has been on the podium at the same level 90 times. She’s also, as of this writing, the only two-time Rally Triple Crown champion, having won titles in Canada, the U.S., and North America in both 2004 and 2010. And, as of mid-May 2022, she’s officially a member of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame.
She’s one of the most successful co-drivers anywhere in rally racing and one of Canada’s most successful racers, period. The fact that she’s a woman doesn’t enter into the discussion, apart from to demonstrate that in motorsport, women have just as much of a place as anyone. More...
